Here is one question we rarely ask ourselves: what is Life Force?
Have you ever heard about “Chi”? What is “Chi”?
Definition of Chi, in a large number of cultures, it refers to a natural “Vital force”.
- For Asians cultures, it is also called Chi, comprised in the Great Tao by Lao Tse, which is older than 5,000 years!
- The Japanese call it “Qi”. It is part of all Martial Arts Traditions.
- Life Force is in “Prana” in the Hindu Tradition of AryuVeda.
- Reichenbach called it “Odic Force”.
- The Tibetans, as well as Native Americans, they both have it in their teachings. Hippocrates talks about it, as well as the French, calling it: “Elan Vital”.
Many exercises and meditations have been built around it, to attract it, like Qigong, Tai Chi, Prana Breathing, etc.
Whatever you call Life Force, it has been mentioned in many Ancient Works or Wisdom Teachings, also known as Mystery Teachings or Ancient Wisdom Teachings.
Life Force is like rivers flowing throughout the Universe. But you cannot see Life Force, like you cannot see the Infrared spectrum, but it is there. Life Force’s existence has been proven at the University of Munich, where the medical branch includes acupuncture, the Study and Application of needles into the energy pathways of the body to either attract or disperse Chi in the physical body.
A renown teacher, Dr.C.M.Dodgin, wrote about “Energy”:
“The control of Life Force is absolutely essential to perfect health and long life. It is the rejuvenator and revitalizer which forms the actual elixir of life. If Life Force is strong within the body, it will prevent the appearance of disease, or will banish disease if present, cause every gland and organ to work in an absolutely normal manner, cause the bloodstream to circulate more freely and with a rich full power of disintegration of harmful germs.
If we do not have the life force in our bodies in sufficient quantity and power to continually rebuild the cells as they break down, and the cells and tissues will therefore break down faster than they can be rebuilt. Life Force is more essential than the food we eat; thus, cells of the body are insufficiently supplied because the energy in the body which controls the cells does not have enough ‘cement’ to work with. The energies in the body which control the cells in the tissues use the life force as the thing which sticks together the electrons, atoms and molecules within the body.”
Bruce Frantzis, an Energy Instructor, talked about Life Force in “Energy Arts”. He stated:
“Energy can be increased in a human being. Consequently, the development of chi can make an ill person robust or a weak person vibrant. More chi can enhance mental capacity too.
The concept of chi also extends beyond the physical body, to the subtle energies that activate all human functions, including emotions and thought. From the perspective of thought, when your mental chi becomes more refined it enhances your creativity at all levels – art, business, relationships, child rearing, etc.
Spiritual Chi makes it more possible for us to personally enter into higher states of consciousness, which lie at the heart of religious experience.”

Your body is fueled by Life Force, did you know it?
Every single cell in your body has a battery pack; there are about 50 trillion of cells in the body, so there are 50 trillion of small battery packs.
Life Force is stored in the Solar Plexus, from where it is being distributed throughout the physical body. Your body is a bio system with a chemical factory, an electrical plant and runs on polarity (= / -), positive and negative.
The Life Force keeps it going, supplying energy to the Battery packs. The LifeForce Charger is like an alternator, charging the cells, like a battery is being charged.
Usually the batteries weaken, like the battery in your car gets older, and parts of it shut off, the battery finally dies, and nothing in your car will work anymore. Unlike your car, you cannot purchase a new body.
The cells disintegrate and because they are not supplied with enough life force to renew themselves, as fast as they disintegrate, we age. The cells die, the older we become, the sicker we become, and we finally die.
The battery pack in each cell, called ‘mitochondria’, floats in water in the cell. When you drink the water, that has been enhanced with the Life Force, the cells, and in turn, the mitochondria, become charged up. The more vibrant and stronger the mitochondria, the healthier and stronger a body is.
Aging is directly related to Life Force!
All functions and organs in the body need life force to operate. Most people have just enough to keep the body system going. Let alone for any excess to do more...
If you assume you have 70%-80% of a possible 100% of life force stored in your solar plexus, which is available to you on a daily basis, and you need 50% to operate your body, and now you have maybe 20% left over. That is not much: it costs Life Force to have your eyes open, read, drive, work, think, watch TV, work out, sports, kids and family, work your household and move around, you will not really have enough Life Force to do all this. You are burning your candle on both ends.

Science tells us, it takes about a minimum of 4 weeks to replace the water in the body; that does not include the water inside of the cells. Please refer to the following article of the USGS Water Science School about water and what its function is:

The unique qualities and properties of water are what makes it so important and basic to life. The cells in our bodies are full of water. The excellent ability of water to dissolve so many substances allow our cells to use valuable nutrients, minerals, and chemicals in biological processes.

Each day humans must consume a certain amount of water to survive. Of course, this varies according to age and gender, and also by where someone lives. Generally, an adult male might need about 3 liters per day, while an adult female might need about 2.2 liters per day. Some of this water is gotten in food. If you deduct the water from food, most recommend you should drink 1 Liter (~33fl.oz) as a minimum, best 1,5 l (~49fl.oz.) as a woman, unless you are a lot outside or do physical work or the climate demands differently.
In his article WATER The Essential Life Force, Kurt Grange (Ph.D., N.D. | Nov 19, 2006 | Healthy Body, Water) stated:
“Good, clean, pure water is second only to oxygen as the most important nutrient for sustaining human life. It has an important action in nearly every major function of the body from regulating body temperature to carrying nutrients and oxygen to cells. It is the main component of blood and lymph. Water cushions joints, greases the walls of the arteries, helps prevent constipation, and is crucial for metabolic reactions. It regulates the temperature of the body by absorbing heat produced by cell metabolism and physical exercise. It cleans the tissues of the body by removing wastes and toxins. It is absolutely essential for life. Without it you would die within days.”
